The VBAC Preparation Workshop

If you have previously had a caesarean birth and are planning to have a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean) then this workshop will equip you with essential knowledge on how to approach it.

Topics covered include:

  • concerns about the risk of scar rupture;

  • finding supportive healthcare professionals;

  • monitoring during labour;

  • how your partner feels about the birth; and

  • what to do if you want to use a birth centre or birth at home.

The workshops are held in the upstairs therapy room at Beetroot Sauvage, a vegan cafe in Edinburgh with onsite parking. The food is delicious (I highly recommend both the coffee and their cheesecake). You can also arrange a private workshop in your own home at a time that suits you, drop me a line for more details.

PLEASE NOTE THAT GROUP WORKSHOPS ARE POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BUT PRIVATE WORKSHOPS ARE STILL AVAILABLE

'Relaxed, informal and extremely informative. We came away feeling so much more informed and with an excellent information pack. I would recommend this workshop to anyone hoping for a VBAC.'

Debbie, Camelon
